These Terms of Service apply to SEOBoss ("we", "our", or "the service"), including its website, hosted analysis tools, downloadable software, research datasets, and related documentation.
1. Purpose of the service
SEOBoss is a keyword research application intended to help users evaluate search demand, historical trends, competition, commercial signals, topic clusters, probable search intent, and related research factors.
2. Research and informational use
Metrics, estimates, classifications, scores, trends, recommendations, and other outputs are provided for research and informational purposes. SEOBoss does not guarantee search rankings, advertising performance, traffic, revenue, conversion performance, future search volume, or business results.
3. Third-party data and services
Some information displayed or processed by SEOBoss may originate from third-party services, including Google Ads. Other fields may be independently calculated or derived by SEOBoss. Third-party services remain subject to their own terms, policies, availability, and technical limitations.
4. User responsibilities
Users agree to use SEOBoss lawfully and in accordance with applicable third-party platform policies. Users are responsible for the keywords, files, datasets, account permissions, and instructions they provide and for decisions made based on research outputs.
5. Google Ads functionality
The core SEOBoss Google Ads integration is designed for keyword research and reporting. SEOBoss does not require automatic campaign creation, bid modification, budget modification, or campaign management to provide its primary functionality.
6. Availability and changes
Features may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued as the product evolves. Processing methods may also change when necessary to maintain compatibility, security, performance, or compliance with third-party APIs.
7. Intellectual property
SEOBoss software, branding, documentation, and original analytical methods remain the property of their respective owner. Users retain rights to content and datasets they lawfully provide, subject to the permissions needed for SEOBoss to process that content and provide requested functionality.
8. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of guaranteed results or uninterrupted availability.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SEOBoss is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or speculative losses arising from reliance on research outputs, third-party data, third-party platform changes, or service interruptions.
